At LCA Group we are passionate about the talent within our business and the technology we use, and we are constantly looking for ways we can become more efficient as a business to better meet our client’s needs. We recently installed an Artos CS-326 Servo Driven Wire Processing Centre (via Cable Speed Ltd) into our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in North Wales to assist with this efficiency drive.
The Artos CS-326 is a powerful and fully programmable wire processing centre which provides speed and reliability that previously would have all been done manually. We have been able to integrate this with ePlan, our online design software for a completely seamless process.
Implementing the Artos has enabled us to measure, cut, strip and inkjet mark all wires quickly, and with zero errors – providing reliability and repeatability. In particular, having the capability to ink-jet the wires automatically assists our teams with panel wiring when using the ePlan wire schedules generated on our 3D models.
We have had a dedicated team within LCA who have led the way for optimising the integration of the Artos CS-326, and so far the team have been delighted with the efficiency this new equipment has brought to LCA, with some projects reporting a 60% time saving compared to previous wire processing methods.
Moving forward this will have a significant impact on projects, and it is our plan to roll this out to use across all manufacturing projects and share this efficiency with our clients.
Please get in touch with us to find out how this automation technology could work for your future project demands.
