LCA is a leading supplier of electrical, control and instrumentation engineering solutions based in Hawarden, North Wales.

We are looking for Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Design Engineers and Control Panel Design Engineers to join our team.

Prospective candidates will ideally have an Engineering Degree (although not essential) but must have experience in AutoCAD and Engineering HNC.

We’re also on the lookout for a Graduate Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer.

Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Design Engineers

As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for Project Engineers within the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) biased environment who can support the delivery and execution of a range of industrial installation and manufacturing design contracts. The opportunities exist across multiple industries including Nuclear, Oil & Gas and manufacturing. Day to day duties will include the following:-

  • Concept and detailed design production.
  • Involved in tender preparation.
  • Client facing including site client meetings and design reviews.
  • Production, checking/approval of EC&I drawings and other associated technical documentation.
  • Responsible for recording and tracking of project hours booking.

We would expect the candidate to have a good understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations. As an SME employer, we can build our teams around talent and as such are encouraging applicants of varying backgrounds and experience levels, a compensation and benefits package will be tailored to each applicant. The roles will be full time, permanent (40hrs per week) but we will also consider short term contracts if it suits both parties. Ideally, you will have security clearances up to SC or have the ability to obtain these in a reasonable time frame by satisfying the required background checks (sponsored by our company). This role will work to the companies’ combined compliance procedures, as well as customer, industry specific, national and international standards.

Training Requirements :-

  • BS7671 18th Edition – Ideal Not mandatory.
  • Engineering HNC – Minimum requirements.

Control Panel Design Engineers (EC&I)

Graduate Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineers

As part of our expansion and development, we are recruiting for Graduate Engineers within the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) biased environment who can support the delivery and execution of a range of industrial installation and manufacturing design contracts. The opportunities exist across multiple industries including Nuclear, Oil & Gas and manufacturing. We would aim to support graduates across all the areas of our business to gain rounded experience in :-

  • Control Panel hardware design.
  • Site electrical power, control and instrumentation systems.
  • Manufacturing, testing and commissioning engineering.
  • Design process, quality documentation, project management & planning.
